Introduction

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Pivot app, operated by Healthspan Culture FZCO. Pivot provides personalized nutritional estimates, meal-planning tools, food tracking, wellness scores and AI guidance using information supplied by the user and, where selected, supported connected data sources.

Plans and Subscriptions

Pivot may offer free and paid plans. Features, pricing, billing periods, trials and renewal terms are displayed in the app, on the applicable app store or on the Pivot website. Paid subscriptions are processed by the relevant app-store or payment provider and are subject to that provider’s billing and cancellation terms.

Supported Data Sources

Pivot currently supports WHOOP on iOS and Android and Apple Health on iPhone. On iPhone, WHOOP and Apple Health are alternative connection options, and Pivot uses one selected data source at a time. The availability of integrations may vary by platform, app version, region, permissions and third-party service availability.

Use of Connected Health and Wearable Data

Pivot may rely on data made available by WHOOP or Apple Health, including activity, energy expenditure, workouts, sleep, heart-rate and recovery-related signals, body measurements and other health or fitness information. Pivot does not control or guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timing of third-party data. Inaccurate, delayed or incomplete data may affect Pivot’s outputs.

Apple Health and Compatible Third-Party Data

Apple Health support is designed primarily for Apple Watch. Apple Health may also contain compatible data written by third-party apps or devices, including Garmin or Oura. Pivot does not integrate directly with Garmin or Oura and does not guarantee that every third-party setup provides the data types required for personalized calculations.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account and profile information, selecting the correct data source, granting appropriate permissions, reviewing generated targets and using Pivot responsibly. You should not rely on Pivot where the available data is incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances.

Not Medical or Professional Advice

Pivot provides nutritional estimates, meal suggestions and wellness guidance for general informational purposes. The service is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. It does not replace advice from a qualified physician, dietitian or other healthcare professional. Consult an appropriate professional before making significant health or dietary changes.

Intellectual Property

All content, algorithms, software, designs, trademarks and proprietary materials within Pivot are owned by or licensed to Healthspan Culture FZCO. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works except as permitted by law or with written authorization.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pivot and Healthspan Culture FZCO do not guarantee specific health, nutrition, weight loss, fitness or performance outcomes. Recommendations and calculations are estimates. We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate user information, third-party data, service interruptions, delayed synchronization or reliance on app-generated guidance.

Privacy

Pivot collects and processes personal, nutrition and connected health or wearable data as described in the Privacy Policy. By using Pivot and authorizing a supported connection, you consent to processing consistent with that policy.
